Pakistan’s electric vehicle industry continues to grow rapidly as Metro EV has officially launched four new electric scooters in Pakistan during a grand event held at a private hotel in Lahore. The launch ceremony was attended by Metro EV CEO Waqas Ahmad Butt, Secretary Provincial Transport Authority Punjab Muhammad Ahsan, and other government officials and industry representatives.
The newly introduced electric scooter models include the T9 Sport, M6 Empower, Thrill Pro, and E8S Mountain Climber. These scooters are designed to offer advanced technology, improved riding comfort, and better performance for Pakistani consumers.
According to Metro EV officials, the latest scooters include several premium features such as cruise control, front and rear disc brakes, side stand sensor, Bluetooth connectivity, mobile charging support, keyless start, and multi-mode motor technology. One of the biggest highlights is the introduction of nano carbon fiber battery technology, which Metro EV described as a third-generation battery solution in Pakistan’s EV market.
Metro EV CEO Waqas Ahmad Butt stated that the company upgraded its technology to provide modern features while keeping prices affordable for local consumers. He also emphasized that electric vehicles can help Pakistan reduce fuel import expenses and support sustainable transportation.
During the event, Secretary Transport Punjab Muhammad Ahsan highlighted the government’s Vision 2030 plan, under which Pakistan aims to shift 30% of transportation toward electric vehicles by 2030. He described electric mobility as an environmentally friendly and sustainable solution that can help reduce carbon emissions and pollution.

- T9 Sport: PKR 179,000
- M6 Empower: PKR 245,000
- Thrill Pro: PKR 199,000
- E8S Mountain Climber: PKR 289,000
The launch of these new electric scooters reflects the increasing growth of Pakistan’s EV market and highlights the rising demand for affordable and eco-friendly transportation solutions.
